01What it does

What Seek and Find Yourself Inc does

Mission

The organization empowers women in recovery for sustainable success by providing housing, supporting services, and training curriculums.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990-EZ.

Programs

  1. For the hope house supportive housing program, we supplied a variety of needs as they arose, depending on each person who entered the program. Those supplies included but are not limited to shelter, counseling, job readiness and life skills training, regular contact with a certified peer recovery specialist for setting goals and coordinating outside resource referrals. In addition, we provide food, clothing, hygiene items, medical and dental office visit charges, medication purchases, car repairs, reading and writing materials, etc. Until each client obtains a regular income. Our housing program pays all the utility and maintenance expenses for the property we are blessed to use for our programs and our vehicles that transport residents of the program. Out of approximately 18 residents, 90% of our intakes became stable while in our program and reached the goals they set for themselves while here. Our numbers decreased due to people staying longer and less turnover. We only had one person leave before accomplishing financial stability in 2024. The rest moved into their own place, remain in contact, and continue in their self-sustainability. Three of our residents were ladies…

  2. Our divine designs program exists to help our clients identify their individual gifts, talents and interests so they can set goals to feed those interests and utilize their gifts in a career calling that allows them to obtain fulfilling jobs with better pay. Supplies and expenses for this program can vary widely depending upon what each client needs to accomplish their goals. Divine designs helps pay for any special training or travel for conferences in their field of interest, necessary work attire, or anything related to helping them reach their job and career goals. In addition, we offer the ability to tap into their creativity to make products that we sell at our church conferences. This allows clients to reduce their minimal program fees during periods of unemployment or when they need to gain additional work experiences and references.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of SEEK AND FIND YOURSELF INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of SEEK AND FIND YOURSELF INC's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $73 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
