What Roseburg Concert Chorale Inc does
Mission
Our mission is to engage, inspire, and enrich the community and chorale participants through the performance of choral masterworks, diverse artistic experiences, and education outreach; to partner with schools throughout Douglas County; to bring the gift of music to Douglas County, Oregon, the nation, and the international community.
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.
Programs
Concerts: We present four regular concerts of a variety of music at different venues throughout Douglas County, with an audience of 100 to 500 people per concert. We also join the UCC Concert Band for an annual Veterans' Day concert, honoring all five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. In April 2025, we combined with the Three Rivers Community Orchestra for a performance of Luigi Cherubini's "Requiem".

$1,650 spent$1,650 earned by the program1% of program spendingTravel: In March 2023, we traveled to central Italy. We participated in masses in both Rome and Assisi, which was something new for most of the choir members. We performed Italian composerLuigi Cherubini's "Requiem", as well as several selections by American composers, for evening audiences in Rome and Florence. Each performance was an opportunity to share our love for music, and to help raise money for projects at each of the respective churches. At All Saints Anglican Church in Rome, proceeds were put toward the church's roof repairs. At St. James Episcopal Church in Florence, audience donations were used to assist with continuing organ repairs. The trip also included educational tours in Rome of the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel, the Colosseum and Roman Forum, and the Gallery of the Academy of Florence, where Michelangelo's statue of David is housed. Coincidentally, there was a collection of musical instruments on display that was acquired by the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory in Florence. Some of the funds raised through donations and a baked potato booth at local festivals were used to assist two students at Umpqua Community College with cost of the trip. Without that…

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2022, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2022, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended.

Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2023 to 2024, from $12k to $14k (+21%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.

Who funds it, year by year
2020 → 2023: the base held at 1 funder, grant income rose $11 → $16.
1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.
From the IRS filings of ROSEBURG CONCERT CHORALE INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
Where its funders are
100% of ROSEBURG CONCERT CHORALE INC's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $42 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
