Mission

Support of youth baseball and the development of teamwork, sportsmanship, personal responsibility, and sense of community.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990.

Programs

  1. Field maintenance has recently become a larger expense. The league is growing in player participation, which requires the use of a higher number of fields, some of which were not of the high standards for safety and enjoyment. It has taken a great deal of time and effort, as well as more money from the league general fund to bring these fields up to the expected standard of quality. The local government simply does not have money available to help the baseball league with this expense.

  2. The concession stand is expensive to run and also requires hard work by many volunteers. It generally raises positive revenue for the league, but even more importantly, it makes is easier for families to come and watch the games together. Having a well stocked concession stand, along with providing good service, adds an aura of quality, comfort and convenience for all who come to enjoy the entertainment of watching family and friends play baseball. Another advantage is the concession stand is another activity which allows social interaction where people can get to know each other better.

  3. All star activity for all the participating age groups, is a big part of the baseball league. These activities include both hosting tournements locally, and also traveling to other locations. The league is becoming well known for its ability to provide a venue for this type of high level competition.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of ROHNERT PK CAL RIPKENBABE RUTH BB’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of ROHNERT PK CAL RIPKENBABE RUTH BB's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $67 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
