01What it does

What Ride2revive Inc does

Mission

To provide recreational activities and driving experiences to children who are undergoing medical treatment for life-threatening illness.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. The organization advanced its mission of supporting children undergoing treatment for life-threatening illnesses by providing memorable, adrenaline-filled driving experiences designed to distract them from health-related challenges and help revitalize their spirits. Contributions were used to support programs that bring joy directly to children and their families, including hospital-based events where children had opportunities to experience wish-granting drives in exotic cars. Support also helped facilitate the donation of drivable miniature cars for younger patients to use inside hospitals while traveling to and from treatments. These programs created uplifting experiences, strengthened family connections, and provided meaningful emotional relief for children facing difficult medical journeys.

03Who funds it

Who funds it, year by year

2018 → 2023: the base held at 2 funders, grant income fell $15k → $3k.

1 of 5 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 4% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $1k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
