01What it does

What Regional Health Services Foundation does

Mission

Provide continuing support for the regional health services hospital through a broad-based program of increasing health awareness, enhancing public relations, and providing a convenient vehicle for charitable contributions.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Program

  1. Collect and receive gifts of money or property for the benefit of regional health hospital services in cresco, iowa, and the patients they serve. Gifts of the foundation help support patient care at regional health services in many ways, including new construction and remodeling of the hospital, the purchase of new equipment, new health care programs and expanded services to those in need. With continuous changes in rural healthcare reimbursement, it is necessary for the hospitals to seek private funds to enhance these services. Healthcare experiences new and exciting developments in technology and patient care every day. Improving and expanding the services that are offered at regional health services of howard county are ongoing to meet the needs of the patients we serve.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of REGIONAL HEALTH SERVICES FOUNDATION’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of REGIONAL HEALTH SERVICES FOUNDATION's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $957 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
