Our goals are to reduce drug use through science and resarch-based prevention programs; support treatment of individuals suffering from substance abuse disorder; reintergrate individuals recovering from substance abuse disorder into the community; create a recovery ecosystem model that addresses stakeholder roles and responsibilities as part of a collaborative process that develops infrastructure and operations, and fund deployment of local planning and implementation of the model and examine funding models to sustain the recovery ecosystem; and organize, resource, and coordinate research, prevention, treatment, and reintergration efforts involving substance use disorders.
