What Q&A Foundation does
Mission
To enrich the lives of children with disabilities by providing memorable experiences that cultivate joy, confidence and inclusion.
As stated on its FY2024 Form 990-EZ.
Programs
Our community program funds improvements to community facilities and provides operational funds to better serve children with disabilities. This program came into play in 2022 with the project, "rejuvenate badger park". Local businesses and residents of peshtigo, wi donated to have the local park rebuilt to better accommodate children with disabilities. In 2023 & 2024 this project continued to accept donations to fund final touches on the park and prepare for the donor bricks to be created and installed (happening in 2025). 2024 didn't have any other community focused projects in the works.
$10,905 spentof which $10,905 as grants55% of program spendingThe joy program. The purpose of this program is to bring joy to children with disabilities and their families through free events. At each event we will encourage the feeling of joy by offering things such as fun activities to accommodate all abilities, food and drinks, social interaction all while providing a safe and welcoming environment for everyone in attendance. We will advertise each upcoming event on our social media pages and have our partnered nonprofits advertise our events to reach as many families as we can (sybil hopp, hand n' hand, dsaw, cp center, ymca, lovin' the skin I'm in, and aspiro). We also email our members with updates whenever necessary. Currently, we open sign up prior to these events on our givebutter website on a first-come basis for up to approximately 100 families. To host each event for free, we have collected donations from local individuals and businesses. Many local businesses have expressed their eagerness to work with and support our foundation through yearly funding. We also host an annual golf outing to raise awareness of our mission and additional donations. The 4th annual outing was held on september 7th, 2024, at ledgeview golf course,…
$8,918 spent45% of program spendingThe confidence program. The purpose of this program is to offer experiences that build confidence in children with disabilities. This year we did not get the opportunity to offer a "specific" confidence-focused event but rather incorporated the theme of this into our joy and inclusion events. Many of our joy and inclusion events do help to build confidence and cross into this category. The goal of these events is to instill confidence, communication and involvement for the child the entire event. We hope that these experiences will carry over into their everyday routine to help them feel more a part of society as they continue to grow up.
$0 spent0% of program spendingThe inclusion program. The purpose of this program is to provide children with disabilities with the opportunity to experience community events at no cost. It is meant to promote inclusion by getting these children out into the community either through a direct experience or through a hosted inclusion event. Applications are open year-round for families to apply for direct experiences and recipients will be selected by our board. The child must have a disability to be eligible. Activities will be funded by public donations, the proceeds from fundraisers, and selling logo inscribed apparel, stickers and jewelry. These products will be available to purchase on our website and at all our events. We hosted a new zoo event on saturday, june 8, 2024, where children were able to feed the pelicans. We also hosted a timber rattlers family social at the stadium on sunday, august 4, 2024. A green bay botanical garden social was hosted on wednesday, august 21, 2024. Lastly, a kroc center family social was on thursday, sept. 19, 2024, for all to gather and swim amongst other community members. Again, many of our joy events foster inclusion in our community as well.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2021, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2021, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2021 to 2022, from $129k to $56k (−57%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.

Who funds it, year by year
2021 → 2023: the base broadened from 1 funder to 3 funders, grant income rose $25k → $180k.
2 of 5 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 83% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.
From the IRS filings of Q&A FOUNDATION’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
How concentrated its funding is
Q&A FOUNDATION leans on a few funders — its largest provides 81% of grant income and the top three 98%; half comes from just 1 funder.
the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left
83% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund Q&A FOUNDATION.
Largest funder’s share by year: 2021 100% · 2022 86% · 2023 83% — diversifying over time.
“Effective funders” = inverse Herfindahl index (1 / Σ shareᵢ²) — the number of equal-sized funders that would give the same concentration. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
Where its funders are
83% of Q&A FOUNDATION's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Of the $86k that is directly attributable, 100% of it comes from Wisconsin funders.
In-state vs out-of-state, by year
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $410k arriving through sponsors registered in 2 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
