01What it does

What Promise of Hope Ministries D/B/A Homeplace Ministries does

Mission

To promote evangelism and missions under the lordship of jesus christ and to promote christian fellowship and brotherly love through the teaching, preaching and testimony of the word of god.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Program

  1. Promise of hope ministries dba homeplace ministries provides a platform for impacting many lives. We help people find hope in jesus by engaging them in support groups, bible studies, cookouts, children's events, fishing, target shooting and camp fires, farm days, youth camps, and a myriad of other activities. We host wounded soldiers from the various soldier recovery units of military hospitals across the south. We help them reacclimatize themselves to civilian life by providing job training and marriage counseling for the wounded military personnel and their families while helping them see that jesus loves them and wants them to be defined by that love and not their wounds. We have also started a church, homeplace church, to extend that message to the community around us. "helping the wounded come home" is the primary mission statement of homeplace church. In 2025, 54 people surrendered their lives to jesus through homeplace which is an average of over 1 person a week.
