Program
Guide each child to design a life of self-esteem, empathy and creative expression emboldening them to reach across culture, find common values in differences to realize a brighter future. Through army headquarter we worked with army garrison youth centers - fort sill, georgia; fort know, kentucky; fort hamilton, ny; fort stewart, georgia; fort leavenworth, kansas. We trained staff and they taught the manadoob learning system to children ranging in age from 5-12. In addition, we worked with international army garrison sites including usag rheinland-pflaz, usag beneluz-shape, and usag daegu, korea. Camp fire los angeles/long beach, a youth development organization established in 1925 to empower young people of all backgrounds, began their pilot program at three of their 13 afterschool program sites. They are implementing both age groups of the manadoob learning system reaching children 5-12. Chisipite junior school in harare, zimbabwe is working with the social emotional learning system to empower young girls to express themselves in a society that undervalues the importance of women. The goal is to reach children in additional school environments and to include boys who are raised…
