What Pos Port of Support & Pathwayz to Success does

Mission

Our organization is a nonprofit dedicated to providing direct services to individuals in need. We offer a range of essential support, including rapid rehousing, gas and motel vouchers, mentorship, workforce readiness programs, and real-time services. Additionally, we address emerging needs with spaces for healing and provide advocacy, referral, and support services to help individuals navigate challenges and achieve self-sufficiency. Our goal is to empower our community through compassionate, holistic assistance that promotes long-term stability and well-being.

As stated on its FY2023 Form 990-EZ.

Programs

  1. With the generous funding POS (Port of Support) & Pathwayz to Success was able to make a substantial difference in the lives of many individuals throughout our community. One of our immediate priorities was addressing hunger and basic needs. We successfully provided 130 hot meals to our unhoused community members, ensuring that they received not just food, but nourishment, dignity, and compassion during a time of hardship. Beyond meals, we took meaningful steps to improve living conditions for those without shelter. We distributed 50 tents, 50 blankets, 45 electric heaters, 25 winter coats, and 100 emergency blankets to 80 unhoused individuals. These resources were critical in helping them stay warm and safe, especially during the coldest months of the year. This effort represents our commitment to providing more than just temporary aid-it's about restoring hope and security. We were also able to provide transitional support for three survivors of domestic violence. These individuals were given the opportunity to begin anew in safe, stable housing. Our team worked closely with them to ensure their transition was supported with care, empathy, and access to essential services.…

03Who funds it

Who funds it, year by year

2020 → 2022: the base broadened from 1 funder to 2 funders, grant income rose $20k → $30k.

3 of 5 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 21% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of POS PORT OF SUPPORT & PATHWAYZ TO SUCCESS’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

How concentrated its funding is

POS PORT OF SUPPORT & PATHWAYZ TO SUCCESS leans on a few funders — its largest provides 73% of grant income and the top three 94%; half comes from just 1 funder.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left

100% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund POS PORT OF SUPPORT & PATHWAYZ TO SUCCESS.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $70k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
