01What it does

What Patriot Legacy Education Foundation does

Mission

The mission of the Patriot Legacy Education Foundation (PLEF) is to build a strong and diverse portfolio of support that is sufficient to fund the growth plans of Literacy First Charter Schools (LFCS) grade K-12 for the future. This includes resources that would support all programs, areas of critical need, expansion of programs and facilities and the support of our students in college matriculation. Committed to using research-proven techniques, LFCS equips students through a broad-based literacy program, a rigorous math program, an experiential science curriculum, and an active social studies program.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. The Patriot Legacy Education Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization where 100% of contributions go directly to LFCS programs. Funding supports the implementation of programs above state funding mandates including areas of critical need, expansion of programs and facilities and support of our students in college matriculation.

Each line starts at 100 in 2019, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2019, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
