Its own explanation, from Schedule O of that return (Part III, line 3).

  1. Since 2016, the foundation has installed and/or funded 15 gardens in central florida. Poor nutrition and obesity are both challenges to low- income neighborhoods. Community gardens can mitigate some of the problems that plague urban areas. They can be a beneficial addition to many communitites by increasing the availability of nutritious foods, strengthening community ties, reducing enviromental hazards, reducing food miles and creating a more sustainable system.

  2. The foundation provided microgrants to schools and nonprofit organizations to promote school-based soccer programs. We know that children who establish healthy lifestyle patterns at a young age will carry them, and their benefits, forward for the rest of their lives. As such, we supported schools and organizations that promote the game in their communities.

2 of 5 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 17% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $13k arriving through sponsors registered in 2 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
