What Orange County Farm BureauInc does
Mission
Farm Bureau is the 'Voice of Agriculture.' We are an organization designed to provide a means by which farmers 'can do together...the job that can't be done alone.'
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.
Programs
Orange County Farm Bureau supports the Special Hearts Farm, a local organization which serves individuals with disabilities and unique abilities by providing adult day training, supported employment, and possible entrepreneur business opportunities related to farming and gardening experiences. The facility provides transition opportunities for students with disabilities to train and continue performing meaningful agriculture-related jobs.
We continued to correspond with local and state officials through various platforms to educate them about Orange County agriculture and its challenges in an urban county.
Orange County Farm Bureau understands the importance of supporting the next generation of agriculturalists. The county provides scholarships to students pursuing careers in agriculture. We also support our youth during the Central Florida Fair. The skills learned while showing animals at the fair are invaluable life lessons such as responsiblity, time management, inter-personal skills and business management.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2020, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2020, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2020 to 2021, from $1.9M to $2.3M (+25%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
Surplus & reserves
Operating surplus or deficit each year, and months of liquidity in hand. 4 of the last 6 reported years ran a deficit.

Leadership and staff
The officers, directors, trustees and key employees listed on each return. Joined and no longer listed compare each filing with the year before, matching people by surname and first initial; a year after a gap, or a roster under three people, has no comparison.
