01What it does

What Operation Outpour does

Mission

Our mission is to spread the love of Jesus by providing Christ-centered education to underprivileged children in Mirebalais, Haiti. Our mission encourages and partners with the community to invest in their children's future. We believe every child and adult can reach their full potential unencumbered by poverty. Specific Objectives and Purposes: 1.) To educate, feed, clothe, and share the love of Christ. 2.) Our school, Sorbonne Christian Academy, is in Mirebalais, Haiti and provides education for Pre-K to Grade 13 (high school) working in partnership with the local community and leaders. 3.) Ongoing donor partnerships support the school and building expansion and to provide fair and equitable salaries for teachers and supporting staff.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. Due to the political and civil unrest in Haiti during 2025, there was no travel to Haiti for medical or humanitarian purposes. The school, Sorbonne Christian Academy, currently serving 320 students; 31 Full time staff and 17 Part Time staff, had to be closed for a brief time in April and May for the children's safety due to gang violence. Operation Outpour was still able to send emergency relief aid in the form of medical supplies, toiletries and hygiene products. Salary support for our administration and staff continued as well during our brief period of closing. December of 2025, a weekend meal program began, feeding 400-550 every weekend. The majority of people served being our students, their families and local community members. This has been a very successful addition to our ministry in Haiti.

2 of 2 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of OPERATION OUTPOUR’s funders (the co-funder graph). Top 1 of 2 funders by total. Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of OPERATION OUTPOUR's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $312 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
