What Onondaga County Bar Association does

Mission

To inspire excellence in the legal profession, to foster the fair administration of justice, to promote equal access to the legal system and to serve and support our members.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990.

Programs

  1. Lawyer referral: the bar association will connect those in need of legal services to a licensed attorney who is familiar with that type of legal issue.

  2. Social events: the bar association sponsors social events and community service work projects which bring members of the organized bar together to share experiences.

How it's funded, over time

Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
