01What it does

What Nexus Impact Center Inc does

Mission

The Nexus Impact Center unites, inspires and resources people to cultivate impact-driven business models. We work with both nonprofits and for-profit organizations providing like-minded community, economical space, advocacy for impact-based business models and support through connecting members to programs and resources.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990.

Programs

  1. Shared space for start-ups, solopreneurs and freelancers to launch and grow their businesses. We averaged 100 active coworking members throughout 2024 who utilized the shared space and connected with the community. We helped connect many of them to resources and programs to keep their business going through the ongoing impact from the pandemic/inflation. Many of which found ways to continue to pivot and grow.

  2. Economical space for impact-based businesses and nonprofits to work, meet and hold events. We had a 95% occupancy rate throughout 2024. Impact is through employment, product/services, giving and equitable supply chains

  3. Economical office amenities (mailbox, furniture rental) to lower barriers for impact-based businesses and nonprofits. We have sought to find the tools and services our members need and provide things like locked mailboxes, storage space and furniture for suites at a very low monthly cost so they can focus on their businesses

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of Nexus Impact Center Inc’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of Nexus Impact Center Inc's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $76 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
