We create and facilitate opportunities for friendly social events and educational workshops in order to maintain and strengthen connections with scotland and scottish diaspora communities around the world. The nycc is a tax-exempt non-profit under section 501(c) (3) of the internal revenue code, and regularly supports charitable initiatives related to our purpose.

Eventsburns supper: an annual black-tie celebration honoring the life and works of scotland's national poet, robert burns, featuring traditional food, music, and recitations, and a ceilidh with traditional scottish dancesnyc tartan week pre-parade ceilidh: the largest ceilidh in the us, held during nyc tartan week, this lively social gathering includes traditional scottish music and dance, bringing together the community in celebration of scottish heritage.
