Programs
Facility identification, design, securing and construction - new village academy program for fy25 is the work of launching the new school. First and foremost was the work of securing a facility for the school to operate. This work involved a comprehensive search for locations, negotiating leases (for multiple possible locations), and designing and constructing a facility ideally suited to the school's educational program. The school was able to identify and design and permit construction work for a space at annapolis mall. However, the mall's ownership changed hands shortly before the lease was finalized, forcing the school to delay opening for a year while it was determined if the new owner would be amenable to renegotiating the lease with the school.
$196,795 spent100% of program spendingStudent-family and staff recruitment - new village academy recruited over 200 student applicants for the aacps lottery process and had offered seats to 150 students (75 of whom had enrolled) before the school made the decision to postpone opening. The school had also recruited and interviewed staff and made 4 hires before the postponement. The school also worked to take care of families and staff impacted by the delay, ensuring they were appropriately placed in other aacps schools.
Educational program development - new village academy's educational program is highly innovative and unique both in design and in its place-based, local curriculum and community partnerships. The school partnered strategically with national organizations to design the competency-based assessment structures, the internship program, and the self-paced instructional framework. The school also developed partnerships with over 20 local organizations and businesses to host student internships, serve as professional experts for project-based learning curriculum, and provide wraparound services.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2024, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2024, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2024 to 2025, from $90k to $1.1M (+1096%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
Government-grant reliance: 2024 0% · 2025 81%. Grants only. Government contracts and fees sit inside program revenue.

Who funds it, year by year
Grant support over time, funder by funder — shade shows the grant size each year.
3 of 3 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
How concentrated its funding is
NEW VILLAGE ACADEMY PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL INC leans on a few funders — its largest provides 61% of grant income and the top three 100%; half comes from just 1 funder.
the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left
100% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund NEW VILLAGE ACADEMY PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL INC.
“Effective funders” = inverse Herfindahl index (1 / Σ shareᵢ²) — the number of equal-sized funders that would give the same concentration. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
Where its funders are
100% of NEW VILLAGE ACADEMY PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL INC's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $33k arriving through sponsors registered in 3 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
