What New Covenant Safe Haven does
Mission
New Covenant Safe Haven is a Christian-based organization committed to uplifting and supporting individuals and families living in poverty within our community. Our primary mission is to provide essential services such as temporary shelter and meals, while also facilitating access to job-seeking resources. We provide assistance with resume writing, interview preparation, and budgeting, aiming to break the vicious cycle of homelessness and unemployment.
As stated on its FY2021 Form 990-EZ.
Program
To help people realize their potential, enabling them to become self-sufficient, reduce homelessness, poverty, and illiteracy. We believe in offering a helping hand, providing a listening ear, and instilling hope. Moreover, we strive to connect our beneficiaries with crucial community services, creating a network of support to foster their journey towards independence and self-sustainability.
The program described on its FY2020 Form 990-EZ.
Who funds it, year by year
Grant support over time, funder by funder — shade shows the grant size each year.
1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.
From the IRS filings of New Covenant Safe Haven’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
Where its funders are
100% of New Covenant Safe Haven's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $16 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
