What National Jobs for All Coalition Inc does
Mission
The national jobs for all coalition, inc., is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the proposition that decently paid, useful work is a human right that governments have a duty to secure for all jobseekers.
As stated on its FY2024 Form 990.
Programs
After receiving the first part of a 3-year $1.9 million bequest from one of our founders, we began a professionally assisted strategic planning process that led us to seek an affiliation with a larger organization to enhance our effectiveness and better secure our future operations. By the end of the year, we narrowed our search down to three university based social justice institutes that expressed enthusiasm about our partnering with them. We decided to first pursue negotiations with the institute for race, power and political economy at the new school university and secured a mutually beneficial agreement with them.
$90,000 spent76% of program spendingUnder the leadership of a state university professor of social work and three part-time organizers, we established a connecticut jobs and human rights taskforce. The taskforce worked on educating both the public and legislators concerning the social costs of unemployment and the feasibility of establishing a state-funded direct job creation program to provide decent work for all unemployed jobseekers. Two high-ranking members of the general assembly drafted a bill to study the feasibility of funding a pilot project to test the idea. A committee hearing was held on the bill and it was voted out of committee, but no floor vote was scheduled.
$26,445 spent22% of program spendingOur periodic newsletter publishes short articles of interest on the subject of unemployment and remedies for it. Three issues of the newsletter were published in 2023 containing articles as varried as "looking back on the national youth administration," "a national infrastructure bank bill," "labor organizing for the 21st century," "connecticut considers full employment trust fund bill," "new leadership for columbia full employment seminar, and "good jobs are a human right! Review of the case for a job guarantee by pavlina r. Tcherneva." several of these articles were reprinted, with our permission, by other publications.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2023, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2023, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2023 to 2024, from $1.8M to $1.7M (−8%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
