Mission

Advancement and education in the arts

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Programs

  1. Greeley Park Art Show. A 2-day art show that is free to the public and attracts hundreds of visitors. 43 artists from New England participated.

  2. Microgallery exhibits in and around the Nashua area give local artists and member artists an opportunity to display their work while uplifting the community. These include ongoing exhibits at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, the Blue Zone in Nashua, Campo Enoteca restaurant in Manchester NH, the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua, and others. Often exhibits have receptions which include education in the arts for the public. In addition, this year we opened the ArtHub gallery at 98 Main Street, Nashua NH to provide even more exposure for both member and non-member artists, a homebase for workshops, demonstrations and meetings. The ArtHub is currently open Wednesday through Saturday, and allows us to participate in and support Nashua community arts events. We hired two gallery directors for ArtHub. The microgalleries are run by volunteers.

  3. Scholarships were provided to two high school students who planned to pursue degrees in the arts. We worked together with educators in the Nashua area school system to identify and reward these students. They were also given the opportunity to exhibit their work at no cost at our Greeley Park Art Show.

1 of 2 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 10% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of NASHUA AREA ARTISTS ASSOCIATION’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

New Hampshire out of state home

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $133 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
