01What it does

What Montana Pediatrics does

Mission

We are physician innovators working together to improve access to high quality pediatric care for families and to create opportunities for physicians across montana to collaborate. We believe that teamwork and clinical care can transcend our vast geography. We are unified by the shared goal to make the world better for everyone who cares for montana's children.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990.

Programs

  1. We develop quality, accessible, culturally informed, and tribally-led systems for pediatric healthcare delivery on the fort peck reservation by offering telehealth in partnership with local nurses and clinicians in six school-based health centers. This service line has been fortunate to receive funding from multiple private foundations to support and expand work with native american populations.

We embrace collaboration and the use of technology to offer after-hours telemedicine visits with montana pediatricians who value continuity of care and supporting the medical home.

Who funds it, year by year

2021 → 2023: the base broadened from 1 funder to 5 funders, grant income rose $25k → $1.3M.

1 of 7 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 4% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $118k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
