Mission

To champion high-quality early learning and healthy development strategies from the prenatal period to age eleven and lay a strong foundation for preble county kids, families, and the community.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Program

  1. Preble Mini Minds provides high-quality early childhood education and development services to children 6 weeks to 12 years old. Programming focuses on preparing children for success in school and life through individualized, evidence-based educational and social-emotional learning practices. Preble Mini Minds utilizes creative curriculum, a play-based, whole-child curriculum incorporating daily literacy instruction grounded in the science of reading. Through intentional learning experiences, children develope language, literacy, phonological awareness, math, problem-solving, and other school-readiness skills. Individual assessments are used to monitor development, guide instruction, and cummunicate progress with families. For 2025, pre-k outcomes demonstrated strong academic readiness: at the fall checkpoint, 100% of pre-k children not receiving services through an individualized education program (iep) met the widely held expectations for math and language development. Preble Mini Minds also utilized conscious discipline to support children's social-emotional development. This approach equips educators to foster self-regulation, positive relationships, conflict-resolution skills,…
