As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. Successfully completed five clean water projects across multiple states in Nigeria, a significant achievement that underscores our commitment to improving the quality of life for communities in need. Through these initiatives, we have drilled five water wells equipped with efficient pumps, strategically located in five separate elementary schools. This not only provides students with reliable access to clean and safe drinking water but also promotes better health and hygiene practices among the children and their families. The impact of these projects extends far beyond just providing water; it fosters an environment conducive to learning and growth. Children can now focus on their education without the burden of water scarcity. Additionally, these projects have engaged local communities, creating a sense of ownership and responsibility towards maintaining these vital resources. We are proud to have met and exceeded our expectations in delivering sustainable solutions that empower communities and enhance the well-being of future generations. This accomplishment reflects our dedication to making a meaningful difference and highlights the importance of collaboration and support from…

2 of 2 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of MILLION CHILDREN EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVE’s funders (the co-funder graph). Top 1 of 2 funders by total. Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of MILLION CHILDREN EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVE's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $35 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
