01What it does

What Connector Park Foundation Inc F/K/A McP Foundation Inc does

Mission

The connector park foundation, inc. (a georgia nonprofit corporation) was formed as the governing body responsible for planning, engineering, development, programming and operation of a comprehensive transformative greenspace and transportation solution for the southeast's most densely populated and diverse region: midtown atlanta.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Program

  1. Spanning over the I-75/85 "connector" extending from north avenue to 10th street, the project would create a world class recreational, entertainment and self-sustaining destination; while "stitching" back together midtown atlanta between the central campus of georgia tech to the west and tech square and adjacent midtown neighborhoods to the east. The project would, most importantly, create public greenspace in an area severely in a greenspace "deficit," as well as provide a transportation solution around one of the most congested and outdated transportation scenarios in the state. The foundation serves as the primary non-profit responsible for all activities and efforts associated with the project.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of CONNECTOR PARK FOUNDATION INC F/K/A MCP FOUNDATION INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of CONNECTOR PARK FOUNDATION INC F/K/A MCP FOUNDATION INC's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $7.3M arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
