01What it does

What Mancos Common Press Inc does

Mission

Restore and maintain original Mancos newspaper office, its presses and the donated Cranston Press. Provide learning and artistic opportunities involving printing presses.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990.

Programs

On its FY2024 return the organization reported starting a significant new program.

Mancos Common Press created a single member LLC called Mancos Commons, LLC for the purpose of constructing additional space for both their operations to provide artistic learning and opportunities as it relates to the older presses. In addition to space for Mancos Common Press, the building includes 3 residential rental apartments and one small commercial space. The leases are written and do not include any personal property or personal services provided to the tenants. Accordingly, none of the real estate leases constitute unrelated business taxable income.

Its own explanation, from Schedule O of that return (Part III, line 2).
