01What it does

What Los Perales Elementary PTA PTA California Congress Parents Teachers does

Mission

The goal of the PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is to build strong working relationships among parents, teachers and administration in support of our students. We recruit and coordinate volunteers, plan and organize a mix of educational and fun school activities, provide support to our teachers, principal and office staff and much more.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. Our LP PTA provides a wide range of services/programs for our school, including After School Enrichment Programs (ASEP), Summer Reading, DADs club, and LP Reads. We also host a lot of fun and educational events for our school including Science Fair, Stem Night, Family Bingo, Multi Cultural Event, Reflections, Spelling Bee and Dance night as well as the much beloved Variety show. Some of our events are fundraisers (Fun Run, Carnival, Yearbook, Spiritwear). The money raised from these activities benefits our school directly by providing teachers with funds for supplies and teaching aides, as well as staff training and development. The money also goes towards schoolwide office supplies and materials, subscriptions and equipment needed for supplemental classes, such as physical education, art and computers. In addition to all of this, we typically, fund one capital improvement project per year on campus. Recently, the PTA provided a new water filling station, a new audio-visual system in the multi-purpose room, and helped fund new playground equipment and outdoor furniture.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of LOS PERALES ELEMENTARY PTA PTA CALIFORNIA CONGRESS PARENTS TEACHERS’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of LOS PERALES ELEMENTARY PTA PTA CALIFORNIA CONGRESS PARENTS TEACHERS's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $1k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
