Mission

Giving back to our community was always a part of our lives. However, the how and why to give back expanded when an unbelievable opportunity was presented to us. For years we dreamed about running a retail business in the borough of west chester where individuals with special needs could work. We hoped to provide an opportunity to provide independence, purpose, and meaningful work to those with special needs, however, we never expected so many peopleespecially bridesto embrace our vision of a cause-based business supporting people with special needs. All parents envision the future of their kids, but for parents of kids with special needs, thinking about the future can bring more questions than answers. An answer to one of those questions became clear when we learned of an opportunity to purchase a well-established flower shop with a fantastic tenured staff. It seemed too good to be true: a turnkey shop with a great reputation and years of experience working with brides, wedding planne

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of KATI MAC EDUCATION FOUNDATION’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of KATI MAC EDUCATION FOUNDATION's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $75k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
