01What it does

What Improving Healthcare Culture Inc does

Mission

The mission of improving healthcare culture, inc is to offer services and training to healthcare institutions and individuals for the purpose of improving psychological safety and the reduction of workplace bullying.

As stated on its FY2023 Form 990.

Programs

On its FY2023 return the organization reported starting a significant new program.

The organization was awarded a grant from the Commonwealth of MA to provide programs consistent with its mission of improving the culture within healthcare. This was the first and so far only grant award. The organization developed and provided workshop programs not accomplished in previous years.

Its own explanation, from Schedule O of that return (Part III, line 2).

  1. Execution of Commonwealth of MA HCBS Grant program (*Note, this was our only program for 2023) On 9/30 and 11/28 2023 full day workshops were run consistent with the above named grant award. The Sept. one was a trial workshop and the one on 11/28 was a full workshop with 6 attendees. Related to this grant and it's programs was all the background work required. This included tailoring workshops based on host facilities needs, Investigation Review Board review and endorsement of the study methods and procedures, continuing education credit application and approval, and necessary contacts to solicit healthcare facilities to book our program. The execution of this grant was started in 2023 but runs through March of 2025 utilizing the single lump sum funding of $264,920.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of IMPROVING HEALTHCARE CULTURE INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of IMPROVING HEALTHCARE CULTURE INC's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $25 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
