01What it does

What Hudson River Rowing Association does

Mission

Provide education and training to individuals in the art of rowing without preference to race, creed, age, religion, color or disability. To provide the equitable means for both competitive and recreational rowing.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Program

  1. Hudson River Rowing Association ("hrra") recognizes that rowing is a life long sport that takes many years to master and we believe that access to experienced and competent coaching will ensure that athletes in all of our programs will continually learn and progress. Hrra was founded by the local coaches and we continue to attract experienced coaches from regional scholastic and collegiate crew teams to help our athletes meet their goals. Hrra uses a progressive system for its programs, grouping athletes with similar skills and goals in teams together. We provide novice, intermediate and competitive teams in both sweep and sculling.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of HUDSON RIVER ROWING ASSOCIATION’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of HUDSON RIVER ROWING ASSOCIATION's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $87 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
