What Hope Rising for Children Inc does

Mission

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990.

Programs

  1. African Aid Organization continues to spread HIV/AIDS prevention messages and outreach sessions to children and other young people in sub-Saharan Africa to reduce the spread of the epidemic. HIV/AIDS Awareness Clubs created in some schools are doing a great job to involve young boys and girls in our prevention program. AFAID trains members of the club and provide them with basic information regarding HIV, AIDS, and other Sexual Transmitted Diseases (STDs). Members of the clubs connect easily with their respective communities when it comes to testing, discussing safer sex behavior, and including HIV prevention messages in their daily lives. As a matter of fact, AFAID Awareness Clubs have positive influence on young people with whom they interact easily.

1 of 2 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of HOPE RISING FOR CHILDREN INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Top 1 of 2 funders by total. Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of HOPE RISING FOR CHILDREN INC's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $67 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
