01What it does

What Helper Arts Alliance does

Mission

The helper arts, music and film festivals mission is to encourage art and culture in carbon county, support the local artist community, stimulate and enrich the local economy through the arts, and to educate and give access to art for everyone, regardless of income level or art experience. The helper arts festival is designed to celebrate art and culture which combines performance, art making, gallery strolls, demonstrations and more at no fee to the patrons. It also serves to increase opportunities for local area galleries and artists to share their artwork with a broader audience and drive economic activity.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. The helper arts festival draws 4,500 people annually to helper's main street. This year we focused on film, creating the carbon short cuts film festival which had a great showcase of local area film makers. The festival drives economic activity in our small, rural community with live music, food and artist vendors lining our historic main street.
