What Heart Bridge International does

Mission

Heart Bridge International exists to equip and empower Christians around the world to fulfill the Great Commission. The organization provides free ministry training, discipleship resources, and practical coaching to under-resourced pastors, leaders, and churches, especially in developing nations and among unreached or under-reached people groups. Through evangelism, leadership development, and church-strengthening programs, Heart Bridge International helps local believers share the gospel, make disciples, and build sustainable ministries in their communities.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. Heart Bridge International equips and empowers Christians in developing nations to share the gospel and make disciples. The organization provides free ministry training, discipleship resources, and practical coaching for pastors, youth and children's leaders, and ministry teams who have little or no formal training. HBI focuses on evangelism, church strengthening, and leadership development among unreached and under-reached people groups. During the year, HBI partnered with churches and ministries across Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, to train leaders, launch youth and children's ministry programs, and distribute biblically sound resources in multiple languages. These efforts resulted in hundreds of leaders trained, new believers discipled, and expanded outreach to communities with limited gospel access.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of HEART BRIDGE INTERNATIONAL’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of HEART BRIDGE INTERNATIONAL's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $40 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
