01What it does

What Guardians Hockey does

Mission

Our aim is to provide Active Duty, Veterans, Law Enforcement, Fire fighters, and First Responders a dynamic and engaging environment that supports their growth and professional development necessary to excel in hockey and in life. We are dedicated to creating a tight knit community. Helping combat the effects of those struggling with PTSD, and build upon the camaraderie we all share from our Military and First Responder backgrounds. In addition, we also believe that it is extremely important to give back to our community through service projects, volunteering, fundraisers, and charity hockey games. We aspire to be the best we can be on and off the ice and to support one another through good times and challenging times.

As stated on its FY2022 Form 990-EZ.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of GUARDIANS HOCKEY’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of GUARDIANS HOCKEY's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $76 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
