Greeley county health services (gchs) operates an 25-bed critical access hospital, two rural health clinics, and a long-term care facility which provide healthcare services including inpatient, outpatient, emergency care, and residential long-term care services to patients in the greeley county area. Gchs provided 279 admissions, 11,030 outpatient visits, 956 emergency visits, as well as 5,778 resident patient days in 2024. Gchs provides care to persons covered by governmental programs at below cost and to individuals who are unable to pay. The unreimbursed value of providing care to these patients was 402,356 for charity care, 2,697,390 for medicare, and 2,253,772 for other third party payors for the year.
