What Greater Greenville Hockey does

Mission

Greater Greenville Hockey was created to organize, administer and operate your sports programs in the upstate of south carolina. The goal is to instill in each participant a love, appreciation and knowledge of sports, the ideals of fair play and sportmanship, the development of leadership skills, and committment to community service. This is a 100% volunteer organization focused on making the sport of ice hockey accessible and affordable to all. We also offer need-based scholarships through our silent warrior fund and provide loaner gear as needed. We offer "try hockey for free" events that are open to all who are interested. We also developed the first all-girls hockey team in south carolina - the warrior princess. We were able to create this team through efforts including clinics, jamborees, camps and "try hockey for free" events that were for girls only. The Greater Greenville Hockey association is a non-profit organization which relies completely on volunteers. Many people give gen

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of GREATER GREENVILLE HOCKEY’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of GREATER GREENVILLE HOCKEY's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $16k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
