Program

  1. In 2024, girls quest continued its mission of delivering engaging and fun camp activities at camp oh neh tah in east windham, new york. The 2024 session represented a new chapter with alum j green taking the helm as camp director. We increased the number of campers to almost 50 and survived a lengthy power outage along with more rain than usual. Notwithstanding that, the girls enjoyed all their activities, especially those involving the dining hall where we had two fabulous chefs doing scratch cooking for all of the campers and the staff. Archery, crafts and other daily festivities also kept the girls entertained.our sisters in camping from camp sojourner girls' leadership camp in philadelphia returned in 2024 and enjoyed a successful session as well.

2 of 3 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 81% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

81% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund GIRL'S VACATION FUND INC DBA GIRLS QUEST.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $16k arriving through sponsors registered in 2 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
