Mission

Our mission is to enrich our community by initiating economic growth and community development. We want to inspire, motivate, and instill pride in our community by working together as a volunteer organization to positively influence future generations to build and sustain a healthy community.

As stated on its FY2018 Form 990-EZ.

Program

1) Heritage Days Festival - This event shows our volunteerism to influence future generations to continue our legacy of building & sustaining a healthy community. Our Festival goal is to provide a family friendly atmosphere to promote the vitality of Gillett. We hold several family oriented competitions of which the entry money is used to assist the City of Gillett with small beautification projects. The festival also promotes local business by allowing venders.2) The R.A.V.E. Benefit Dinner & Auction - This event is our largest fundraiser each year. R.A.V.E. is an acronym for Revitalize, Aspire, Visualize, & Educate. We raise awareness and funds for local charities during this event such as the Dana's House Children's Home. Proceeds for this event are used to fund 4 College Scholarships, the ABC Preschool, the Back Pack Program and the Gillett Community Assistance Fund.3) Christmas Past & Present - This is a free event organized for Gillett and surrounding communities to celebrate Christmas. Again promoting the vitality of Gillett and assisting the City with needs for its citizens. We host a Parade & a Smoked Chicken Luncheon during the event.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of GILLETT CIVIC GROUP INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of GILLETT CIVIC GROUP INC's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $122 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
