What Generation Next Project does

Mission

We are addressing youth mental wellness through a curriculum and live experience platform that we have developed. We partner with golf organizations like First Tee PGA Reach and golf clubs around the country to operate 1 and 2 day clinics. We work with adolescent and young adults ages 12-22 years old. In addition to our live experience we developed an online platform where participants can work through modules and gain further knowledge and guidance to proper mental fitness that translates to their day to day life.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. Change Your Course: Our program is getting adolescent and young adults to being understanding the importance of intentional thought resilience development coping with success and failure all through the game of golf but intended to be translatable to their life situations. We reached 75 kids through live experience with our 5 events. We surveyed and received unanimous positive rated feedback to the programs ability to connect these golf lessons to life. We added 1 additional sport psychologist. We are now communicating with First Tee HQ about a larger scale expansion with our work with them. Our 3 largest program services would be live experiences clinics a fully built curriculum accessible online and partnerships with junior golf programs.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of Generation Next Project’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of Generation Next Project's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $55k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
