Programs
By assisting Big Island Drug Court, a specialty court of 112 participants, with fundamental needs (i.e. providing taxi coupons for transportation, clothing for a job interview, education or job training material, paying for a GED exam or State ID fee, providing preventive services which support sobriety, and by incentivizing positive behavior and accomplishment of goals) it offers each an opportunity to overcome a barrier(s), thus, transpiring into a willingness and motivation to continue on a right path. Twelve participants (11%) successfully completed the program and graduated. They have obtained employment, with several, also pursuing college degrees. With achieving this milestone, they evolve into the best version of self, gain self-worth and trust, and become pillars in our community.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2021, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2021, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.

How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
20% of FRIENDS OF BIG ISLAND DRUG COURT’s revenue is contributions — more earned-revenue than three-quarters of its peers (100% for the typical peer).
