What Fort Foundation Inc does
Mission
The mission of The Fort Foundation has historically been to provide affordable housing to low-income individuals and families. Over the past few years due to some aging and deaths in the Fort Family Dan Fort who lives in Atlanta has experienced significantly greater challenges managing The Foundation. Accordingly The Foundation began to evaluate and plan other strategic alternatives. Selling a significant amount of the rental real estate was completed in 2020. This year has been comparatively slow with no new initiatives begun.
