What Folsom Chamber of Commerce does
Mission
To promote the civic, business and economic well being and general well being of the folsom area.
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.
Programs
Folsom rodeo:one of the biggest traditions of folsom is the annual folsom rodeo. At the event itself, the rodeo consists of several different events, including bull riding, bronco riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, and the always popular "mutton busting". After the end of the rodeo, fireworks are launched every night, which can be seen through all of folsom.
Folsom women's conference:folsom women's conference provides inspiration, empowerment and growth. It is the largest women's event in the region, with over 300 attendees this event highlights the importance of collaboration and bringing women of all ages together to inspire and learn from each other.
Foothills wine event:wine enthusiasts will gather for the foothill wine fest, which takes place at palladio shopping center in folsom. Attendees will be able to taste a broad selection of wines that hail from the sierra foothills, including award winners from the foothill wine fest competition, which took place earlier in the year. More than 20 wine judges gathered in folsom to evaluate and score approximately 400 wines in this annual competition.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2017, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2017, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2021 to 2022, from $225k to $431k (+92%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
Government-grant reliance: 2022 13%. Grants only. Government contracts and fees sit inside program revenue.
Surplus & reserves
Operating surplus or deficit each year, and months of liquidity in hand. 5 of the last 9 reported years ran a deficit.

Who funds it, year by year
2019 → 2022: the base held at 1 funder, grant income rose $5k → $8k.
Left out of every figure on this page: $61k from one payer (the payer shares this organization's board, largest Sutter Valley Hospitals). These are real filings, and they are not money FOLSOM CHAMBER OF COMMERCE raised.
From the IRS filings of FOLSOM CHAMBER OF COMMERCE’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
How concentrated its funding is
FOLSOM CHAMBER OF COMMERCE leans on a few funders — its largest provides 60% of grant income and the top three 100%; half comes from just 1 funder.
the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left
60% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund FOLSOM CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
Largest funder’s share by year: 2019 100% · 2022 100% — broadly stable.
“Effective funders” = inverse Herfindahl index (1 / Σ shareᵢ²) — the number of equal-sized funders that would give the same concentration. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
