01What it does

What First Peoples Community Center does

Mission

The first peoples' community center (fpcc) is a community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is responsive to the needs of native american/indigenous people in the city of fort collins and the surrounding area.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Program

  1. In 2025, First Peoples Community Center (fpcc) achieved several foundational milestones that significantly advanced its mission to serve native and indigenous communities in northern colorado. The organization formally opened its doors and began operating out of the old colorado welcome center, establishing one of the region's first dedicated cultural spaces for native community members to gather, connect, and access resources. This physical space marked a critical step in addressing longstanding gaps in culturally grounded community infrastructure. -------------- see schedule o for more detail ------------------

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of FIRST PEOPLES COMMUNITY CENTER’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of FIRST PEOPLES COMMUNITY CENTER's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $275k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
