01What it does

What Far Reaching Ministries Aviation Inc does

Mission

Far Reaching Ministries Aviation, Inc. is dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission given in Matthew 28:19-20: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the HolySpirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. We sent a Cessna Grand Caravan into Uganda in order to facilitate movement of missionaries, aid workers and humanitarian relief materials into remote, dangerous or inaccessible villages in Northeastern Africa. Our plane is operated by Mission Aviation Fellowship every week and assists multiple Christian and secular NGO workers. We establish outreaches for widows, orphans and vulnerable, suffering people that are largely neglected. We operate in nations all over the world, but the majority of our work is in Africa.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990.

Programs

  1. Rabuna Fi: Mean God is here in the common colloquial dialect in South Sudan and is the name of our Womens Discipleship outreach program. We have 7 weekly meetings in villages within South Sudan and Uganda, women learn how to study the scripture, the importance of giving Christ preeminence in their daily choices and actions and they learn to share their growing faith with others. Our group leaders are now actively starting new discipleship groups and reaching a wider audience. We welcome anyone with a desire to learn more about the Bible to our groups, regardless of denomination. We also offer studies and Bibles in the local languages to facilitate better understanding and application.

  2. Aviation: Our lease with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) for the Cessna Grand Caravan in Uganda has been extended through early 2029. Operating 5-6 days weekly across East Africa, the aircraft provides crucial transport for missionaries and NGOs delivering humanitarian aid. MAF handles all maintenance, ensuring safe travel to remote areas in Uganda and South Sudan, making this partnership essential to our mission.

  3. Missionary Outreach: FRMA is dedicated to discipling, training, and equipping women to transform their communities in conflict areas. In 2023, FRMAs key initiatives included supporting a womens discipleship group and chaplain training in South Sudan, organizing a conference for East African women in ministry, offering discipleship in a girls orphanage in Central America, advising Russian pastors in the UAE, and providing support to Mexican orphans. These efforts highlight FRMAs commitment to empowering women and sharing hope in war-torn regions.

  4. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: The Love Covers (Childrens) program, recently awarded a $2 million grant for expansion in 2025, provides impactful outreach to primary schools in remote areas. Through a three-day Vacation Bible School (VBS) with activities and games, the program engages students, culminating in each child receiving a backpack with essentials. Registration begins three months in advance to ensure all attendees are covered. The program also partners with local churches for ongoing spiritual education and supplies teachers with additional classroom resources. This new funding will allow Love Covers to broaden its positive impact on children and their communities.

2 of 2 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

Left out of every figure on this page: $3.7M from one payer (the payer shares this organization's board, largest Far Reaching Ministries). These are real filings, and they are not money Far Reaching Ministries Aviation Inc raised.

From the IRS filings of Far Reaching Ministries Aviation Inc’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

How concentrated its funding is

Far Reaching Ministries Aviation Inc leans on a few funders — its largest provides 100% of grant income and the top three 100%; half comes from just 1 funder.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left

100% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund Far Reaching Ministries Aviation Inc.

Largest funder’s share by year: 2020 100% · 2021 100% · 2022 100% · 2023 100% — broadly stable.

“Effective funders” = inverse Herfindahl index (1 / Σ shareᵢ²) — the number of equal-sized funders that would give the same concentration. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of Far Reaching Ministries Aviation Inc's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $13k arriving through sponsors registered in 2 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
