What Everyday Gandhis Project Inc does
Mission
The purpose of the everyday gandhis project is to support peace by creating and disseminating media(video, print, recorded, web, live presentations) that communicate stories of hope and inspiration in the face of violence. The organization provides education, lectures and peacebuilding training and ceremonies, primarily in the west african countries of liberia, guinea and sierra leone. This has evolved into providing a scholarship program to allow ex-combatants and others to continue their education and become leaders in their communities.
As stated on its FY2024 Form 990.
Programs
The scholarship program is to provide opportunity for former child soldiers and war-affected youth to finish schooling interrupted by war and the challenges of taking of families. Non-traditional learners such a adult ex-combatant women and children are also included. This education includes high school, university, literacy school and permaculture. Scholarship recipients are supported with supervision, tutoring, trauma healing, medical care, family visits and specialized training in such skills as permaculture, trauma healing, conflict transformation and community building. They are required to actively engage in community service. Applicants from the united states can apply provided they meet the same criteria as our west african participants.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2017, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2017, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2024 to 2025, from $1.1M to $1.1M (−3%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.

Who funds it, year by year
2020 → 2023: the base held at 1 funder, grant income fell $38 → $30.
1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.
From the IRS filings of EVERYDAY GANDHIS PROJECT INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
Where its funders are
100% of EVERYDAY GANDHIS PROJECT INC's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $143 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
