Programs
ROADSHOW:A program designed to make live theatre accessible to diverse audiences throughout Central Oregon. We bring high quality, affordable performances to different venues throughout the area with the goal of providing participation opportunities to Central Oregon performing arts audiences and resources with a focus on promoting diversity across age, race/ethnicity, and gender. Number of persons benefitted: 1,029
$20,659 spent18% of program spendingIMMERSIVES: A program that provides audiences and creative teams an experience that goes beyond the production itself. The ideal production focuses on a relevant issue(s) or theme that would lend itself to additional programming and collaboration with local organizations, community groups, and individuals. In addition to the performances, we offer various immersive programs to cultivate understanding, connection and conversation. Past successful programs have included Panel Discussions, talk-back series with cast and crew, visual arts exhibits, letter writing projects, donation drives and more. It is key that all programming aligns with the theme/story/issue the play presents. Number of persons benefitted: 1,704

Included under this program is our New Work Development efforts under which we support local playwrights in developing new theatrical works, providing space for writers to explore, workshop and share their plays with a team of artists and engaged audiences. We are currently working on our third effort with past efforts involving a full-scale musical and a memory play looking at the effects of war on veterans and those left behind. The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2025, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2025, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2025 to 2026, from $119k to $93k (−22%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
39% of ELLIPSE THEATRE COMMUNITY’s revenue is contributions — about as donation-reliant as the typical peer (64% for the typical peer).
Surplus & reserves
Operating surplus or deficit each year, and months of liquidity in hand. 1 of the last 2 reported years ran a deficit.
