01What it does

What Dulebohn Service Dogs Inc does

Mission

Our mission is to provide service dogs for children, adults and veterans with disabilities for them to gain independence and receive a lifesaving tool and best friend.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Programs

  1. Our organizations top accomplishment is always providing every dog with the best health care possible. We work with multiple outside veterinarian offices and reproductive specialist that give us unbiased care for each dog as they are not employed by us. They understand our mission and adhere to best care practices for every dog. We collaborate with outside specialist who provide us with the ability to care for each dog individually according to their specific needs. If a dog is not meeting the quality health standards we require and our veterinary team agrees the dog should not be a service dog then the dog is adopted out as a pet. Due to a foundational breeding program with very high success rate of dogs in that litter becoming service dogs,

  2. Our second program service accomplishment is holding a leadership team with 33 years of service dog training skills and expertise and administration roles holding medical field certifications. Having a team with this adverse knowledge allows our clients and families to receive a more creative training plan for them and their needs. We strive on continuing education in these fields and staying up to date on all state and federal laws so we can be compliant in this field. Continuing education for our team allows us to always look at our clients complex cases and apply our knowledge to their needs

  3. Our third program service accomplishment is due to building on the other two accomplishments we have created a foundational breeding program, well-educated team and a curriculum for the dog and the client to be able make the teams the most successful they can be. This in turn has allowed our success rate to be extremely high with very little adoptions due to behavioral, temperament, or health issues. We believe in quality and not quantity. Therefore, we only place a certain number of dogs a year so we can continue having quality control within our organization. This very low adoption rate has allowed the organization to place the funds into better use for the program then on dogs that will not make the program.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of DULEBOHN SERVICE DOGS INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of DULEBOHN SERVICE DOGS INC's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $8k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
