01What it does

What Denver Rustlers Inc does

Mission

The Denver Rustlers helps student exhibitors earn money for college through the purchase of their showcased livestock at the Colorado State Fair Junior Livestock Sale making sure the young exhbitors get a fair price for their animals, staying until each and every animal is sold.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. In 2025, supporters of the Denver Rustlers attended the Colorado State Fair Junior Livestock Sales for goats, lambs, hogs, steer and heifers. The animals of the exhibitors from across the state of Colorado were purchased by the Denver Rustlers for more than $80,000. The exhibitors learned the value of hard work while raising their animals for the fair in addition to the funds they receive from participating in the sale. Meat packages from several lots were donated to a non-profit which serves the community members in need.

DENVER RUSTLERS INC leans on a few funders — its largest provides 66% of grant income and the top three 91%; half comes from just 1 funder.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left

66% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund DENVER RUSTLERS INC.
