Mission
The organization's (referred to as dfjarf) purpose is to provide funding for 1) research focused on the prevention of and finding a cure for alzheimer's disease, 2) to promote an increased public awareness of symptoms, treatments, and care of individuals with alzheimer's disease, and 3) to increase the accessibility of care and treatment for those afflicted with alzheimer's disease.

Program
Dfjarf donated funds to the actors fund home, a long term memory care facility, located in englewood, new jersey in which such funds were used to endow a bed in the alzheimer's unit in memory of deane f. Johnson who was a dedicated actors fund board member and who suffered from alzheimer's disease..dfjarf initiated a partnership to work with michael feinstein's foundation, "perfect harmony" which brings music to alzheimer's patients, their families, and caregivers. We started the process to develop a national program with the kickoff being with the motion picture& television fund alzheimer's unit in los angeles and the actors fund alzheimer's facility in new jersey. Dfjarf is acting as the facilitator to bring these three organizations together in this effort along with dfjarf. Our hope is this will come to fruition in 2019/2020.
