Conahec also promotes linkages between north america and higher education entities around the world.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990.

Programs

  1. Student exchange program: conahec's student exchange program provides member institution a way to exchange students for semester-long international study of up to two semesters. 2. Conahec conference 2021: conahec periodically holds its north american higher education conference to convene higher education leaders and practitioners interested in collaborating with partners in other north american countries or with institutions in north america from the rest of the world. Conahec's 2021 conference was combined with the conference of a sister organization in mexico, the mexican association for international education (ampei) and held in october of 2021 in san cristobal de las casas, chiapas, mexico. Attendance was approximately 186 people, 96% of whom represented conahec member institutions. Since ampei had been struggling financially, all revenue from that event was collected and kept by ampei.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of CONSORTIUM FOR NORTH AMERICAN HIGHER EDUCATION COLLABORATION CON’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of CONSORTIUM FOR NORTH AMERICAN HIGHER EDUCATION COLLABORATION CON's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $92 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
